[CURRENTLY IN POST-PRODUCTION]
By invitation of the renowned Play Lab Film, a filmlab that matches renowned directors to rising film talent, I had the opportunity to shoot a short film in the Amazon jungle of Peru. This under mentoring of Apichatpong Weerasethakul (winner Jury Prize Cannes Film Festival with Memoria in 2021 and Palm D'or winner with Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives 2010).
In the short film, two girls named Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz in their final year of high school. The two misfits talk to each other in elaborate and theatrical stories, in order to entertain each other and not fall asleep in this sleepy town. As they visit the jungle they realise they might never return to their previous lives again.
